LIVE WEB SEMINAR: MAXIMISING SUCCESS THROUGH CONTACT LENSES
CIBA VISION® to Provide Unique Access to Leading Optical Business Brains
CIBA VISION® is delighted to invite Eye Care Practitioners from across the UK to participate in the first ever live web seminar to specifically focus on business issues affecting the UK optical market and strategies for business growth in 2011. The live event will take place on Monday 24th January, to coincide with the launch of a new book from CIBA VISION®, “Maximise your practice success with contact lenses”, which contains insights from both research and global best practices within optics and beyond.
The live web seminar will allow exclusive access to leading business consultant, Patrick Myers and Mark Draper, Head of Professional Affairs at CIBA VISION®, who will be on hand to discuss and debate many of the key issues faced by UK practices. Both presenters will provide an overview on business issues that they believe are particularly pertinent in the current environment, before participating in an interactive Q&A session between an onsite audience and those joining remotely, via the Internet.
“We are pleased to extend this invitation for the live seminar to all Eye Care Practitioners across the UK, which has been developed in response to feedback identifying a need for additional and continued support in gaining new contact lens wearers,” said Mark Draper, Head of Professional Affairs, CIBA VISION®. “Whilst it is encouraging to have seen an average growth of nine percent amongst Independent Optical Stores in the last 12 months, employing additional strategies to expand the contact lens customer base will prove vital to ensure continued growth into 2011 and beyond,” he added.
The web seminar will take place via live streaming at 7.00pm on Monday 24th January and will cover the following areas:
- Making contact lenses work for you
- Training and motivating staff
- Practical processes to grow contact lens business
- Providing the right products
- Ideas for promotion
Participants will then be invited to email questions to the presenters in order to contribute towards the live debate and discussion. A complimentary copy of the book, which will serve as a useful resource to accompany the web session, can be ordered on-line at
